Portacom was engaged to provide a secure, functional site setup for Auckland Transport and HEB Construction as part of the Orakei Park n Ride redevelopment.
The challenge? A tight, cliffside site adjacent to rail lines that demanded a quick turnaround, expert coordination, and safe installation under complex conditions.
Within just five working days of order confirmation, Portacom delivered and installed the required modular buildings. Despite transport delays and a few curveballs - like a building arriving without keys - our team worked swiftly with locksmiths, subcontractors, and site managers to get the job done, on time and under budget. We also tackled safety requirements head-on, including working at heights and operating near active train lines.
This project reflects Portacom’s responsive service and true partnership approach. Through smart planning, clear communication, and mahi tahi with HEB Construction and subcontractors like Trade Assist, we delivered a secure, compliant compound that ticked every box.
It’s a testament to what can be achieved when everyone’s on the same page - and committed to getting it right.
