Powernet required two modules to accommodate new 11Kv and 33Kv Siemens switchgear at an electricity infrastructure site near the town of the Te Kuiti in New Zealand's North Island.
Having worked together in the past, Powernet again chose Portacom to design and deliver this solution quickly and safely.
With a 12 week project timeframe and a request for a custom equipment shelter design, the Portacom team moved quickly to build and fit out the buildings as per Powernet's specific needs, before arranging for delivery to Hamilton for the final installation of the electrical hardware. The buildings were then moved to the final site in the picturesque hills just south of Te Kuiti and installed, ready to be energised.
As a results of the Portacom team's hard work, the buildings were delivered for fit out 4 weeks ahead of schedule. The team are proud to work with Powernet on this critical electrical infrastructure and look forward to continuing to work together on similar projects in the future.
